Our School
Welcome to Cherry Trees School
I am pleased to welcome you to Cherry Trees School, we are a member of the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust. At the present time we provide education for 52 pupils, across 6 classes. We are a Staffordshire based Generic Special School catering for children from 2 years – 11 years old with a wide range of needs which cannot be met within mainstream education. We cater for our children through a flexible pathways approach, enabling us to focus our curriculum approaches on the individual, whilst making sure we plan for every child’s progression.
We focus on developing the children in an holistic way, looking at academic learning, social development and building self esteem – encouraging our pupils to develop the skills to self-regulate and contribute positively to all they do with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Our vision is to provide an inclusive education which inspires pupils to succeed by working, learning and achieving together.
Facilities at Cherry Trees include 6 classrooms, a purpose built play area, a swimming pool, multi-sensory room, interaction room, nurture room and therapy room. The school also has its own minibus with tailgate lift which enables all pupils to access facilities and practise transition skills in the local community and travel to activities.
We are proud of the close relationships we have with our pupils and their parents/carers, if you would like to visit our school, please contact the office, I can assure you that you will be made very welcome.
